Look who has recently surfaced. Show those poppy cheeks!  My obsession will never fade.

How much do we love these? I recently discovered BESO, a fashion and life style blog. If I were you I would be "adding to favorites" and checking daily.  Paired with a simple smock dress and some killer Swedish Hasbeens. Your cool.

Couples and Coffee

I often find myself realizing when couples are color coordinated.  Do they know how not ironic this is?
I do it, you do it.  Let's all pretend we are styling a editorial spread on our Saturdays.

Salt n' Pep

This dress has so much right with it. Clean, blocked and simple. You don't have to be nervous about being tagged with this silhouette on your side. Zara peeps!

Ketch- Up + Mustard Please

I couldn't help but crave a hot dog after reviewing street style photos from Paris.  Hold the relish... is this harsh color combo really appealing?  Did these smart people get dressed in the dark?  Perhaps not...I have never, I repeat, never created a look based around this barbecue inspired combo. I always figured it would be too obvious and almost juvenile.  Here's the secret, we all like a lil char grilled..so ground kissable red and Heinz yellow with black. It's good enough to eat.

Alt's cover is too soft?

Emmanuelle's Alt 's first cover for French Vogue. Hmmmm. I like Gisele. I like French Vogue. But does this verge on snooze -ville?  Any 6-foot creature like her is hard to deny in terms of elegance and beauty, but why not tie a red sash around the 20 in waist of hers? Or add one of Balmain's new blazers.  What do you think?

The Art of Styling

Why is she so cool? What makes her jump right off the page? Ladies and perhaps some gents, this is what everyone should recognize as the art of styling.  The bulky sweater is weighted and lays seamlessly on her thin frame.  The cappuccino silk top works with the skin tone because she may have stood longer in the spray tan booth.  Her accessories accents are in the palette of chestnut and remain there. That tells me that she's been around the fashion block and understands how rich these tones are. She's smart. Yes. I respect her.  Why don't you notice how revealing those shorts really are? Once again the over sized cardigan acts like a careful curtain when reaching down for the lucky penny she dropped. Notice  how the silk top peeks out unevenly from the sweater. That uneven pop makes the look feel real.  Last but certainly not least, and maybe be the most important, is the black Martian bootie. There is it.  Her brilliance.  The matte black is bam in Emerald's pasta primevera, it weights the entire look. I salute this lady.
